Isn't it wonderful to have the assurance that God is pleased when His servants prosper! Hallelujah! The Hebrew word, translated here as "prosperity" is laden with meaning: "safety, wellness, happiness, healthiness, peacefulness." In fact, this word usually is translated "peace"; when your needs are met, you are at peace. Moreover, if God is pleased with the prosperity or servants, what must He be with the prosperity of His own children - those who are purchased by the blood of Jesus and adopted as His own? Think how thrilled God must be when we - His own children - prosper in every aspect of our lives! |
